Offensive blog removed from LSE website after Board intervention

A blog on the LSE website which accused Zionism  of being based  “notions of separateness, superiority and entitlement” has been removed from following intervention by the Board.

The article by Dr Sandra Nasr also claimed that “notions of ‘racial’ superiority are contained in Jewish scriptures” and that Zionism was in essence “a colonial plan” which drew on “assumptions of European racial and cultural superiority”.

Board President Jonathan Arkush described the piece as”contemptible” and wrote to LSE demanding that is be taken down. The article was later removed from the website.
