Mazal Tov to the Board of Deputies representatives on the Jewish News ‘120 over 80’ roll of honour

Today we are celebrating those associated with the Board of Deputies who made it onto the Jewish News 120 over 80 list, which profiles the 120 individuals aged 80 and over whose achievements have inspired us for decades.

Here, in no particular order, is the Board of Deputies roll of honour: Sir Ben Helfgott MBE, Deputy for the 45 Aid Society; Eleanor Platt; Deputy for the New London Synagogue; David Farbey, Deputy for Finchley Reform Synagogue; David Parlons z”l, formerly Deputy for Sandy’s Row Synagogue; Dennis Coppel, the President of the Belfast Jewish Community; Ella Marks, Deputy for League of Jewish Women; Sir Ivan Lawrence, Deputy for North West Surrey Synagogue; Jerome Freedman, Deputy for South London Liberal Synagogue; Louise Freedman, formerly a Deputy for the Alliance of Jewish Women; Joy Wolfe, Deputy for Yeshurun Synagogue, Manchester; Louis Rapaport, Deputy for Manchester Reform Synagogue; Malvyn Benjamin, Deputy for Hendon United Synagogue; Ron Shelley MBE, former Treasurer; Rosalind Preston, former Vice President; Lord Stanley Clinton-Davis, former Deputy; Sydney Assor, former Deputy; Tony Sacker, former Vice President.
