Remembering the Har Nof victims

The Board of Deputies & The Jewish Leadership Council

On Tuesday in Har Nof, Jerusalem, five people were murdered in a brutal terror attack. Four people were murdered whilst at prayer: Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, Rabbi Aryeh Kupinsky, Rabbi Moshe Twersky, and Rabbi Kalman Levine. A policeman, Zidan Saif, was murdered trying to protect them. The dreadful images of people slain in the act of worship have been awful to see.

Special memorial prayers are being sent to all synagogues and places of worship across the country, and we are asking people to upload their pictures of our community reciting these prayers over the next few days. Let the world see our memorial to those who were killed and how peaceful prayer and reflection is the way that we remember this terrible event.

To join this nationwide event, please see our Facebook event page here. You can also e-mail your pictures.
