Board of Deputies welcomes Welsh Government decision to adopt IHRA definition of antisemitism

Board of Deputies of British Jews President Jonathan Arkush has welcomed the decision of the Welsh Government to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism “This is a positive step by the Welsh Government in their efforts to fight antisemitism. We are very pleased that they have joined the Government, the main political parties, the police and other devolved and local administrations in adopting the definition. This will bring clarity and consistency in identifying and challenging antisemitism. We call on all other public authorities to adopt the definition as soon as possible.”
