Board expresses horror at terror attack in France

The Board of Deputies is horrified by the bomb attack yesterday at a Jewish shop in Paris.

Coming just months after the tragic murder of three young children and a Rabbi outside a Jewish school in Toulouse, this is another unwelcome reminder of the dangers faced by Jewish communities across Europe. We extend our sympathies to those affected by this senseless crime and continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the entire French Jewish community.

Board President Vivian Wineman yesterday spoke to his counterpart in France, Dr Richard Prasquier, to offer the British Jewish community’s support.
